Trilogy Managing General Agents is under new ownership – as Resolution replaces R&Q
London, 24 March 2020, Trilogy Managing General Agents Ltd (Trilogy), the technical underwriting MGA, today announces the sale of the business by R&Q MGA Limited to Resolution Underwriting Holdings Limited, the change of ownership has received full regulatory approval.
There will be no change to Trilogy’s business, which will continue to be led by Chris Blackwell and retain the same Lloyd’s and company market carrier support. Brokers will see the same business appetite and responsive service, that they have come to expect from Trilogy.
Resolution Underwriting Holdings is the holding company of a group of MGAs based in London which underwrite on behalf of the highest quality capacity. Its principals, Christopher Harman, Norman Topche and Richard Hayes, are well known market figures with a long and successful history of innovation.
Chris Blackwell, Managing Director, Trilogy commented:
